I am using biochemical and biophysical methods to better understand the molecular mechanism of liquid-liquid phase separation (LLPS) and droplet formation of the APC protein.
Hobbies: Basketball, Tennis, Music.
I am using chemical synthesis of Phospho- and Acetyl- modified Tau MT binding region R4 to study it on a protein level.
My current research is focused on understanding the molecular principles of protein aggregation in neurodegeneration and cancer. I am also developping innovative methods for the design of peptides able to target specifically aggregating proteins and inhibit/revert their aggregation.
